The new ZEUS ZXR800/8DSP is far more than just a DSP amplifier. With its 8 amplifier channels and integrated 10-channel DSP, it offers a complete audio solution in a single compact unit. At the same time, it can serve as the intelligent control hub of a complex high-end sound system - or even function as a standalone 10-channel DSP.

DSP amplifiers combine powerful amplification technology with the extensive adjustment capabilities of a digital signal processor in one device. However, with many such combo units, specific DSP channels are hard-wired to the internal amplifier channels, leaving only a limited number of freely configurable outputs available. HiFonics takes a significantly more flexible approach with the ZXR800/8DSP: the integrated 10-channel DSP can be used not only for the internal amplifier channels but also operated entirely externally - just as if a dedicated standalone DSP were installed.

This gives you complete freedom to use 2, 4, 6, 8, or even all 10 DSP channels to drive external amplifiers. This concept allows the sound system to be expanded modularly and in stages at any time - not merely as an optional extra, but as a fundamental part of the HiFonics philosophy.

For those initially using only the internal amplifier channels, the 8 x 50 watts RMS output already offers a wide range of possibilities - such as fully active control of 2-way front and rear speaker systems. If you wish to add a powerful subwoofer with an external amplifier later on, this is easily done: even when all 8 internal amplifier channels are in use, the 10-channel DSP still offers 2 additional outputs - ideal for driving an external monoblock amplifier, such as the ZEUS ZXR750/1E (750 watts RMS). Thanks to the MX-Connect® port, the ZXR800/8DSP can also be connected directly to the factory radio via plug-and-play using vehicle-specific adapter cables.

The standout feature is the integrated 10-channel DSP. With its 31-band parametric equalizer and individually adjustable time alignment, acoustic irregularities can be precisely corrected for each channel. This allows the soundstage to be accurately aligned with the driver's seating position, resulting in spatial, detailed, and authentic music reproduction. Programming can be performed either via PC or conveniently via smartphone using the DSP Master app. Additionally, an integrated Bluetooth receiver enables wireless music streaming directly through the sound system.

The optional HF-DMC remote control allows for convenient adjustment of subwoofer and master volume levels, as well as the selection of input sources and saved settings. It also enables direct control of music playback.
